GC C-40S is a pelletized virgin activated carbon derived from the finest grades of coconut-shells. It is designed for air and gas purification applications. It has superior resistance to mechanical and thermal stress with low fines and dust generation. The uniformity of its shape makes it particularly attractive in applications where low-pressure drop is a consideration.

    Data Sheet

GC C-40S comes in 55 lb bags. It is also available in 1,000 super sacks. Call 973-846-7817 for details.

GC-C40S is utilized for these filters because:

    • The relatively low H2S concentration typically found in home septic systems does not require the more expensive catalytic activated carbons.
    • The pelletized activated carbons are cleaner to work with, making it ideal for homeowner applications
    Specifications:
    • Their high activity and surface area make GC-C40S ideal for most vapor phase applications. The uniformity of its shape makes GC-C40S particularly attractive in applications where low pressure drop is a consideration
    • Made from virgin activated carbon
    • Pelletized activated carbon is cleaner to handle than its granular counterparts

*Standard packaging is in 55 lb. vinyl bags.
Other packaging is available upon request.
