Hi-Flow Radial Air Scrubbers
Hi-Flow Radial Filters (HRF) are a line of activated carbon radial molecular air scrubbers. They capture VOCs and particulate matter in a broad range of environments. They have a small footprint with a diameter that ranges from 15" to 24”. They can handle up to 600 CFM (when recirculating) for the HRF-15, 1,000 CFM for the HRF-5 and 2,800 CFM on the HRF-7. The HRF is made of 16-gauge steel and is available in stainless steel. It can be ducted into existing HVAC systems or be used stand-alone with a power blower. The carbon capacity of the HRF ranges from one-and-a-half cubic feet for the HRF-1.5, five cubic feet for the HRF-5 and seven cubic feet for the HRF-7.
The units come complete with Norit Darco’s H2S activated carbon standard. It is specifically developed for removing hydrogen sulfide (H2S) from air streams and eliminating “sewage odors.” It is produced by steam activating of a unique raw material to provide increased pore volume for adsorption of hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan odors. Other media are also available for various applications.
All three HRF models are offered with an optional power blower that has a standard voltage in one-phase (110/220/1/60), but units are also available in three-phase (208-230/460V/3/60).
